Sudesh Kumar was an actor and producer who featured in many Hindi films from the 1950s to the 1980s. He marked his acting debut with the film Sargam (1950), and later went on to feature in popular films such as Pawan Putra Hanuman (1957), Choti Bahen (1959), Bedard Zamana Kya Jane (1959), Saranga (1961), Grahasti (1963), Woh Kaun Thi? (1964), Beti Bete (1964), Khandan (1965), Mehrban (1967), Waris (1969), Gopi (1970), Man Mandir (1971), Gumrah (1976), Badaltey Rishtey (1978) and Jaan Hatheli Pe (1987). Besides acting, Sudesh Kumar was known for producing films like Man Mandir (1971), Ghulam Begum Badshah (1973), Uljhan (1975) and Jaan Hatheli Pe (1987). He passed away on 1 May 2026 at the age of 95.
