Shikari: The Hunter is an action adventure drama. The movie follows the story of a young man named Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty), who earns his living by doing the road shows with his partner Chanchal (Varsha Usgaonkar). One day, he sees the poster of a Russian performer Natasha (Irina Kushnareva), who is in a circus, and since then dreams of performing with her. His dream does come true, when he gets the job offer from a Russian circus, where Natasha is employed. How this affects his relation with Chanchal and begins a whole new adventure in his life, forms the rest of the plot.
