Raanjhanaa is a musical romantic drama that revolves around Kundan Shankar (Dhanush), a Brahmin from Varanasi, who falls
in love with Zoya (Sonam Kapoor), a Muslim girl. Kundan finds out that Zoya loves a man named Akram (Abhay Deol), who
belongs to her community, and decides to forget Zoya and move on. However, just before the wedding Kundan finds out that
Zoya has lied about Akram’s religion. He crashes their wedding and reveals the truth to Zoya’s parents, thus breaking their
