Gayatri Joshi is an Indian model-turned-actress. She started her career as a Video Jockey on Channel V and then participated in
several beauty pageants. Before starting her career in acting, Gayatri Joshi appeared in several music videos before making her
screen debut in Bollywood with Ashutosh Gowariker’s musical drama Swades (2004) alongside Shahrukh Khan. Her role in the
movie earned her several awards like Bollywood Movie Awards (Best Female Debut), Star Screen Award Most Promising
Newcomer – Female, Zee Cine Award Best Female Debut, and Global Indian Film Award. In 2005, she married Vikas Oberoi,
Promoter of Oberoi Construction.
